Ireland's Fionnuala McCormack will be among those racing in the Phoenix Park in Dublin on Sunday (April 9) as she defends her Great Ireland Run title.
McCormack, the two-time European cross country champion, won last year’s event by just over a minute but could face more pressure this year from Gemma Steel.
The British challenger won the Great Ireland Run in 2015 and is also a former European cross country champion herself.
Other competitors include Irish Olympian Kerry O’Flaherty and last year’s Bristol half-marathon winner Jenny Spink as she works her way towards the Virgin Money London Marathon later this month.
Lauren Hall makes her debut for England following a breakthrough this winter.
The men’s field features Ireland’s Mark Christie and Mick Clohisey.
Among those challenging the pair on home soil will be English runners Alex Teuten, who won at the BUCS Cross Country Championships and finished second at the English National and Inter-Counties, plus Graham Rush, Danny Cliffe and John Beattie.
England's Andy Maud won last year's men’s race narrowly in a time of 29:55 from Clohisey.
